What will be shared?
Imagine being in a family of marvels – an aunt who discovered DNA, a nephew who can fly, a cousin who can swim as fast as Olympic swimmers, and more. It’s real! Science shows that all life on Earth is our literal family – and that connection fills me with joy and awe. It also spurs me to action. Our Earth is my body as much as my arm or leg, making climate change a direct threat to so much that I love. Join me on February 12th, discovering the biology which connects us all - including all mammals, all animals, and all life on Earth!
About Jon Cleland-Host
Dr. Jon Cleland Host is a Naturalistic Pagan, scientist, and father. Jon has been building a reality-based spirituality for over 30 years, and launched the Naturalistic Paganism website in 2004. He has written in Godless Paganism, A Pagan Community Statement on the Environment, UU publications including Faithful Practices & Faith of UU Pagans, and is the current managing editor at Naturalistic Paganism. His scientific work supports the growth of electric vehicles, and has written ten patents and over a dozen peer-reviewed papers for scientific journals, including the journal Nature. He has also taught classes on biology, math, chemistry, physics and general science at the university level, and has a YouTube Channel (YouTube search “Jon Cleland Host”). All of this is to lovingly help build a better world for future generations, in gratitude for the existence his Ancestors have given him.

The Earth-based Spirituality Action Team is for anyone who keeps the sacred Earth at the center of their practice. We see action on climate change as an urgent moral imperative. We aim to reach out into our global communities and recruit volunteers for Citizens' Climate Lobby. We recognize and honor the spiritual nature of climate work.
