Ending Pagan Poverty with Abundance Mentality

In the Pagan community there is a belief, and for some a reality, of being in poverty. Poverty is the inability to earn enough to make the basic needs of food, housing, security, and even, our health. This is not ours alone, but it is a strong element within our community.  We must deal with this, in what we see in our local and national communities.

Rule 4. Meet Needs: The Goddess has no need for hunger and lack. In 2024, continuing cultivate food sources that are able to protect us, and with tools needed to live a quality life. Seeb Banks and permaculture, food storage and all manner of knowledge will need to be exercised over the long term.

Leadership, Guides, and whatever form your support group takes, you will need to learn what your member’s needs. Identifying those who would or is in your community and discover their needs. It can be simply wanting to have places to meet others. It can be food insecurity, and the number of needs, will be diverse.  Its almost always local.

Equally so, is the network of businesses within our community. While metaphysical  and crafts are the most visible forms of business, so to important is the trades like plumbing and electricians, contractors for homes, web tech, medical services including herbalism, and the number of things we do and need, are possible in your local community. Not just candles and incense, but food, medical, trades, and every level of a capitalistic world. Spending in community amplifies abundance.

So its not just assuring our most in need members have life giving support, it is important to understand a connectivity of needs, matching them with people who can help. This is where we can develop abundance. To discover all the needs, and seek ways to support each other. Over time, this develops in local resilience protecting and guiding us to a higher quality of life.

In the end, we want enough to cover our needs, allowing ourselves to pursue happiness, joy, love and all we find as curious and useful.  We will need to do the work, but we can do it with greater abundance. In time that will develop wealth in our image.

Blessings,
Ed
