Gatlinburg based band Tuatha Dea has been described as "Pure Primal Energy", "Appalachian Celtic Rock" and as "A Progressive Americana Band with a Rock edge and fearless attitude for pushing the boundaries of modern Roots music". The reason for the multitude of descriptions has everything to do with Tuatha Dea's outside the box versatility and willingness to explore various musical directions at the drop of a hat, (literally see hat drop in video) which naturally lends itself to their genre defying status and description. The latest video from their recent album release "Irish Eyes" produced at Grammy Nominated Sound Biscuit Studios is no exception.

Tuatha Dea has a long history of going the extra mile to create visual experiences to accompany their music. From natural mountainous glades to rustic hideaways to "old west towns" and all points in between the family of Tuatha Dea has worked diligently to make the vision fit the song. This time Tuatha Dea has partnered with Clayton Center for Arts, Sound Biscuit and DF Productions in an effort to generate an extreme retro vibe and transport their audience back in time to an era of black and white film, tongue in cheek physical comedy and musical romance. The final cut from the new album, called "Somethin' for Nothin' " is another absolute musical departure for the group. It's a witty little romantic tune loaded with plays on words and snappy catch phrases reminiscent of a time long passed. Clayton Center for the Arts provided the magnificent and perfectly suited backdrop to literally 'Stage" and showcase the 11th Official video by the band! The video features the band's own Infamous Holman Sisters, Rebecca Holman Mullikin & Katherine Holman, their respective other halves Danny Mullikin & Chris Bush and Bassist Jerimiah Waldo. A very special guest appearance by the incredible Dre Hilton on piano rounds out the cast. PLEASE Join us, Watch, Like and Share "Somethin for Nothin" and be sure to drop us a comment on fb and Youtube!

Hats off to Jacob Dean and crew of DF Productions for a grand capture, Sound Biscuit Studios for a great recording and a special word of gratitude to the administration and staff of Clayton Center for the Arts for making the journey back in time possible.

AND be watching Clayton Center for the Arts and Tuatha Dea for an announcement regarding a very special performance coming to CCA in late 2022 or early 2023!
