What will be shared

Patrick McCollum works with indigenous leaders in various parts of the world including the Amazon.  With over half a century of peace work and eco-activism, Patrick will share a bit about what he does and why.

About Patrick McCollum

His Excellency Rev. Patrick McCollum is an internationally recognized World Peace Leader, Planetary Activist, and Spiritual Elder, whose work toward planetary sustainability, human rights, social justice, and equality for religions and spiritual traditions, transcends cultural, religious, and political barriers.  Rev McCollum received the Ralph Bunche International Peace Award while at the United Nations, and the Mahatma Gandhi Award at the Presidential Gold Room at the Capitol in Washington DC.

Dr. Jane Goodall, world-renowned Primatologist and World Peace Leader, nominated Rev. McCollum in 2021 for United Nations Messenger of Peace.

Rev. McCollum is also the creator of the World Peace Violin, a globally recognized symbol of peace, which tours the world and has been blessed by millions of people.

Rev. McCollum has spent over forty years working on Indigenous rights projects and preserving sacred land, from fighting for equal rights in prisons for sweat lodges and sacred ceremonies, to standing with his Indigenous Brothers and Sisters at Standing Rock.

Rev. McCollum carries the Ashes of the White Buffalo, from the White Buffalo Prophesy, and he was recently adopted and honored as a Grandfather by the Kogi People in Colombia who he works closely with. Rev. McCollum’s current project is to unite all the Indigenous Peoples across the countries of the Amazon and then utilize their wisdom to save the Heart and the Lungs of the world.

Rev. McCollum is President and Founder of the McCollum Foundation, a non-profit organization guided by a meta-narrative that promotes the sacredness of all beings on our planet, and the idea that we all share the same essential needs: to be seen, heard, and appreciated.

The Earth-based Spirituality Action Team (EBSAT) is for anyone who keeps the sacred Earth at the center of their practice. We see action on climate change as an urgent moral imperative. We aim to reach out into our global communities and recruit volunteers for Citizens' Climate Lobby. We recognize and honor the spiritual nature of climate work.

The meeting will be hosted on Zoom and facilitated by a member of our Action Team.
